Our story
TheCoupleApp started with a small, specific want: one simple tool for one part of a relationship. What we found instead were apps that wanted to be everything at once, like a planner, a journal, a budget, a conversation starter, a mood tracker, with the thing we had actually come for buried a few menus deep.
There is no shortage of apps for couples. What we could not find was a set of small ones. Every product seemed to grow in the same direction: more features, more tabs, more reasons to open it and stay a while. The more they added, the less any single part of them got used.
So we started shipping the opposite. One app per problem, small enough to understand in a minute and finish in two. HourStory came first, for the ache of being apart during the day, when by evening the small things have already faded. The rest of the library is being built the same way, one focused app at a time, released when it is genuinely ready.
